Shipping Logistic Services
Open Auto Shipping Services
The most common & economical method of vehicle shipping is through an Open Auto Shipping Carrier. We schedule an estimated pickup window based upon the availability date you provide. Beacon Shipping Logistics will assign a truck and you will then be given an estimated date for pickup and delivery. Our drivers are instructed to contact the customer 12-24 hours in advance to give a more precise time that your automobile will be shipped and to also go over specific directions. The driver will do an inspection of your vehicle when they arrive for pick up on a Bill of Lading. Both the customer and the driver will sign the Bill of Lading and the same will occur at the point of delivery. Beacon Shipping Logistics will keep you informed during the automobile shipping process. You will always know where your automobile carrier is at all times and have an estimated time of delivery.
Enclosed Auto Shipping Service
Beacon Shipping Logistics also offers you the option of enclosed auto transport. Enclosed auto transport will protect your car from any type of inclement weather or road conditions that may occur during shipping. Our enclosed carriers range in size so no matter what type of car you own we can ship it for you. Enclosed car shipping is a true “White Glove” service and is highly recommended for Antique, Exotic, Custom and all other high end vehicles.
Inoperable Vehicle Shipping Services
An inoperable vehicle is any vehicle that cannot move under its own power. An inop can range from a vehicle that needs a jump start to a severely damaged automobile. Beacon Shipping Logistics has an extensive collection of nationwide trucks that specialize in specifically catering to this kind of service. The most important thing about transporting a non-running vehicle is loading and unloading. Most inop vehicles are picked up from auction yards, towing companies, or insurance storage yards. These places will usually have loading assistance but make sure that we know the extent of the damages. To remove any misunderstanding, we may ask that you send pictures of the vehicle to your agent at Beacon Shipping Logistics, showing the vehicles’ present condition.
Heavy Equipment Shipments
Heavy equipment transport is a process that is unlike any other, whether you need to transport a backhoe, crane, excavator, bobcat, dump truck, skid steer, crusher, or forklift our team is pricing it accurately and getting your freight to the construction site or back to your yard.
Motorcycle Shipping Services
Beacon Shipping Logistics uses only motorcycle shipping services with trailers that are rigged for transporting bikes; most have tracks in the floor that your wheels fit into. They also secure your bike front and rear using soft tie down straps. The majority of the door to door motorcycle transport is done enclosed. Approximate delivery time frames are given with each quote we provide. If you are shipping a mini-bike or a full-size cruiser, the shipping cost will likely be the same amount. Pickup and delivery points must be tractor/trailer accessible. If not, the shipper may be willing to meet you at a nearby location for pick up or delivery.
